Using unexpectedly salvaged 42 AWG vintage wire and drawing from audiophile experience, the restoration produced remarkable results. What began as a one-time repair evolved into a passion—experimenting, refining, and sharing great tone with fellow players.
Over time, we realized we could offer something genuinely special to the guitar community. Inspired by the legendary 1954 Fender single coils, we developed pickups with authentic vintage voicing—warm, open, and rich in articulation.

Magnet quality plays a critical role in tone. Inferior modern magnets can restrict string vibration and produce dull or harsh results.

The Bass Response: The quickest way to test a Strat’s sound quality is hit the low E string. As it forms the foundation of your instrument’s voice, and when it's right, you feel it. Tight and controlled, with a solid "Thump" instead of an overwhelming "Boom."
The "Bottle Sound": If you love Strats, you've probably heard that amazing "Bottle Sound" in the 12th fret position. Since this sound depends not just on pickups but also on instrument quality, some exceptional Strats exhibit this "Bottle Sound" practically throughout the fretboard. Wound with salvaged 1980s USSR 0.063mm (42AWG) coil wire, the Neck pickup delivers that classic "Twangy," shimmery nature of Strat single-coil tones – a balanced, full-range sound with clear highs, rich mids, and impressive lows. Ideal for traditional Strat tones.
Traditionally, the Neck is the first pickup we test when checking a Strat. In most cases, our 42AWG Neck produces that stunning “Wow Effect” – especially if you’re familiar with and value that precious “Bottle Sound” in the Strat’s 12-fret position.

The Middle Strat pickup is widely considered not as Iconic as other positions and is the most overlooked and underutilized pickup. This isn't the case with this model; it is ideal for classic Strat tones and will not fail to please.

The 42AWG Middle combines warmth and bite with mid-range brightness and "spank." Its elegant balance and musicality – good articulation and wide dynamic response – will make you fall in love with the middle position.
It's very responsive and reacts beautifully to your individual playing style.

The bridge is essential for rock and blues, especially lead solos. A decent-sounding pickup is crucial in that position.
Neck pickups typically sound okay or acceptable, but an inferior bridge pickup can drag down a guitar's overall impression.
We paid deliberate attention to make our 42AWG Bridge sound full and strong without ever becoming thin or brittle.
Thanks to our hand-winding pattern and specially manufactured magnets that recreate the original magnetic field, the Bridge remains clear, dynamic and musical.
It is an ideal tool for solos and soulful lines, whether in blues or rock.

Special care has been given to the 2nd and 4th positions. They're often overlooked, but they have so much character with the Kinetic Prewired Loaded Pickguards.
Designed in a hum-canceling configuration, these positions retain their signature tone without the typical volume drop or excessive phase thinning found in standard setups.

The warmth isn't just a frequency curve, it's a quality of harmonic presence that makes notes feel complete rather than skeletal. The fullness isn't about volume, it's about how the pickup captures the full spectrum of string vibration rather than just the fundamental and a few select overtones.
After a lot of testing and real study of how magnets behave over time and under string tension, the goal here was to recreate that quality: clear, immediate, expressive. Not a simulation of vintage tone but a faithful reconstruction of what actually made those pickups feel so alive.
When you play, you want the note to bloom the way it does when you hear a great acoustic guitar in a good room. That bloom, that sense of the sound expanding and then slowly decaying, that's what vintage tone means to us.

Extensive testing proved that modern components can't replicate that authentic vintage tone. Fortunately, we managed to source original Soviet-era coil, lead wires, and capacitors to get the job done.
We craft our accessible pre-wired pickguards using 80s and early 90s coil wires, reserving our ultra-rare 1960s wire for top-tier builds. This is the part that makes the limited runs genuinely limited.
