Having previously owned a gorgeous 1965 Gibson ES-125 TCD. Later on, after crafting my own Strat and Tele single-coils and humbuckers, I couldn't stop thinking about how incredible those old P90s sounded. I decided to channel that vintage Gibson magic and develop my own take on that iconic pickup design.

Sourced from Soviet stockpiles from the 1960s, coil wires 0,063 mm (42 AWG), it provides a character that modern equivalents don't fully replicate. The insulation is different. The copper has a different grain structure from how it was drawn and processed decades ago. The result is a tone that's impossible to fully measure but immediately recognizable once you've heard it.
