THE STORY BEHIND THESE PICKUPS
Having previously owned a gorgeous 1965 Gibson ES-125 TCD. Later on, after crafting my own Strat and Tele single-coils and humbuckers, I couldn't stop thinking about how incredible those old P90s sounded. I decided to channel that vintage Gibson magic and develop my own take on that iconic pickup design.
This set is crafted from very rare USSR 1960s 0,063 mm coil wire, the result is an extraordinary product offering a completely unprecedented sonic palette previously unavailable on the market.
These pickups capture every single one of those vocal nuances and translate them through your strings. The moment you play a bending note, you'll hear your guitar singing back to you with human-like articulation. Each vowel sound emerges naturally from the way your fingers attack the strings, creating an expressive vocabulary that goes far beyond what standard pickups can deliver. It's like your guitar finally learned how to talk, and trust me, it has a lot to say.
Personally, I installed this pickup set on my primary guitar, and it's the best I've ever heard. P90s are notorious for hum, but the middle position (neck and bridge together) remains surprisingly quiet, even with heavy gain. I am thrilled with them, especially since I love sometimes switching to "beast mode" to unleash heavy metal riffs.

THE BOTTLE SOUND
A "bottly" or "clucky" sound (often compared to blowing over the neck of a glass bottle or a "cocked wah" pedal tone) is most commonly associated with thin, highly focused single-coils, narrow humbuckers, or specific hollow-body resonances.
P90s generally sound too thick and "throaty" to capture this specific acoustic-like resonance on their own. This set, however, blew us away. The moment we installed them on a Strat, we instantly unlocked that million-dollar bottle sound we all love in a great sounding Strat.
Better than standard Strat Singles? Yes, or still maybe as P90s are not quite traditional on a Strat. At least they can give them a serious run. They are both excellent on their own.
A famous guitar player, a Strat lover and a good friend of mine tried them and after that jaw dropping effect he suddenly said – “I need to order a Strat with P90 routing!”

CONCLUSION
The enduring appeal of classic P90s lies in their dynamic relationship with the guitarist.
Kinetic P90s interact directly with your playing style, shifting effortlessly from aggressive bite to clean tones, delivering powerful grit under a heavy hand, yet turning crisp and clear with lighter strokes.
Here is what that means in practice. When you play with a light touch, you get the glassy shimmer and natural compression of a lightly struck string. The note has space around it, room to breathe. When you attack harder, the pickup doesn't clamp down or get brittle, it translates the force into more output without losing the harmonic integrity. The note sustains longer because the string is still vibrating cleanly. The overtones stay present rather than collapsing into a flat, compressed blob.
Everything from magnet selection to winding patterns is engineered to give you perfect string-to-string balance and unmatched responsiveness. This ensures every ounce of your personal touch shines through. If you prioritize expressive playing, this flawless guitar-to-player connection is vital—because when your instrument actually sings with you instead of fighting your every move, it completely transforms your tone, technique, and overall joy.

PREMIUM VINTAGE P90 SET FEATURES:
This is the part that makes the limited runs genuinely limited. Sourced from Soviet stockpiles from the 1960s, coil wires 0,063 mm (42 AWG), it provides a character that modern equivalents don't fully replicate. The insulation is different. The copper has a different grain structure from how it was drawn and processed decades ago. The result is a tone that's impossible to fully measure but immediately recognizable once you've heard it.
The classic twang is there, the bottle-like bloom, the kind of tonal texture that players describe and struggle to define. It's in the way notes decay, the way a chord hangs in the air slightly longer than you expect, with more harmonic detail hanging on in the fade. It's in the way single notes respond, the way a bend or vibrato seems to carry more information, more texture, more of the instrument's actual voice.
The twang isn't just about brightness or attack. It's about how the note responds when you dig in, how it has that slightly compressed quality that makes overdriven tones feel singing rather than harsh. The bottle-like bloom is how the sound seems to open up as it sustains, as if the note is finding more room to exist in the air. These are qualities that describe experience rather than measurements, but they're real and they're consistent.
Because the supply is finite, the pickups wound with these wires are a short run. If that's what you're after, you know what to do. And if you're not sure, you should try to find out. Once you hear what this wire does, you'll understand why people talk about it the way they do.
Combined with vintage 1960s lead wires and specially manufactured magnets that recreate the original magnetic field, these pickups produce wonders.
This isn't some mass-produced recreation with marketing hype attached. This is the real deal, and we guarantee this model will give you the most authentic vintage tone imaginable.
VINTAGE SOVIET 1960s STOCKPILES
Great vintage pickups breathe. There is no other word for it. They open up and let the instrument speak, warm, full, dynamically honest. The warmth isn't just a frequency curve, it's a quality of harmonic presence that makes notes feel complete rather than skeletal. The fullness isn't about volume, it's about how the pickup captures the full spectrum of string vibration rather than just the fundamental and a few select overtones.
After a lot of testing and real study of how magnets behave over time and under string tension, the goal here was to recreate that quality: clear, immediate, expressive. Not a simulation of vintage tone but a faithful reconstruction of what actually made those pickups feel so alive.
When you play, you want the note to bloom the way it does when you hear a great acoustic guitar in a good room. That bloom, that sense of the sound expanding and then slowly decaying, that's what vintage tone means to us.
That's what we were after.
